Business Development / Sales Manager - Digital Transformation

We are looking to hire a highly energetic and high performing BDM/Sales Manager for our esteemed client. Our client is a Multinational Conglomerate with turnover of more than USD 20 Billion having its presence in USA/ Middle East and India. Our client has a diversified work culture and is proud to employ more than 85,000 employees.

The role is responsible for meeting our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. This person will be responsible for maximizing the sales team potential, drafting sales strategy, crafting sales plans, and justifying those plans to the senior management.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Actively designing and implementing a strategic sales plan in alignment with the Company’s vision and mission that expands company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence in the region.
  • Generate, Develop and Expand business using existing and potential customer networks.
  • Develop and propose business cases for digital transformation opportunities to potential clients.
  • Ability to articulate and present technical concepts to senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities where we can act as consultants to our clients to help them find digital solutions.
  • Set and track sales account targets aligned with company objectives.
  • Managing recruitment, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales team.
  • Build, develop and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Monitor sales dashboard and team sales metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) as well as present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Advise suggestions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.

Qualification, Skills and experience

  • BBA/MBA or Master’s in Sales and Marketing or relevant field.
  • Proven work experience of 15+ years as a sales manager in the IT, Fintech Corporations, and digital transformations organization consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Hands on experience in B2B sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience.
  • Excellent proficiency in CRM software, MS Office (esp. PowerPoint), Keynote, Pages, Numbers and Google Slides.
  • Experience in creating digital roadmaps and strategies for multiple clients at local and global scale.
  • Hands on experience in structuring and developing compelling proposals.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Consulting services experience or experience of selling in a consultative environment is desirable and will be given preference.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to closure.
  • Self-driven with strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
  • You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented.
  • Business acumen with effective conflict management, problem-solving skills, team management and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in Arabic language would be an advantage.
